IREX is pleased to announce our second annual photo contest. Last year, we received more than 2,400 photos from across the globe that embodied our vision to "make a better world.” This year we are building on that theme by asking to participants to submit images that reflect the lives and locations of our work.
The three prize categories are:
1. Technology, Information & Participation - Photos should explore how technology helps citizens get the information, news and education they need to more fully participate in their own communities.
2. Improving Communities - Photos should explore how citizens mobilize to address important issues related to conflict, the environment, gender, etc.
3. Education & Employment - Photos should explore how education can prepare youth, women and others to participate in the workforce and improve the economic vitality of developing countries.
